For the European Night of Museums, the Musée de l'Orangerie welcomes you free of charge on Saturday May 23, 2026 from 6pm to 11pm.

All areas of the museum are open to you: the rooms featuring Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, the Walter-Guillaume Collection, the exhibition “Henri Rousseau, A Painter's Ambition” and the contemporary counterpart “Alexandre Lenoir. Par la force des choses.”

From 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., mediators will be available to answer your questions about the permanent collections and the exhibition “Henri Rousseau, A Painter's Ambition”

  • Free admission with reservation from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM (last entry at 10:15 PM)
  • The Café-Librairie staff will be there to welcome you until 9:00 PM for coffee, and until 10:45 PM for the bookstore
  • The Kiosque de l’Orangerie is open until 8:15 PM
  • All guests must leave the premises by 10:45 PM


Starting at 8:30 PM, access to the Tuileries Garden is only available through the Orangerie gate (corner of Place de la Concorde, on the Seine side).
