Corps de texte
A significant share of the archive collection relating to Paul Guillaume’s activities as a dealer and collector consists of photographs, nearly 200 of which are assembled in a photo album. The lavishly leather-bound album contains a variety of types of print, pasted to sheets of card – some have been cut out, some are identity photos, some are original prints, others not, etc.
Very few of the photographs are identified. The album comprises a large number of portraits, primarily of Guillaume, and some souvenir photos. A few individual prints are kept separately, and some photographs of inside Paul Guillaume’s home, usually taken by the press, form a complete collection in its own right.
