I can't log in to my member account

Lors d’une première connexion, saisisWhen logging in for the first time, enter the email address associated with your membership, then click on “forgotten password.” You can then create your password and log in to access your personal online space, where you can check the expiry date of your card, among other things.sez l’adresse e-mail associée à votre adhésion, puis cliquez sur « mot de passe oublié ». How long is my Carte Blanche valid for?

Your card is valid for one or two years, depending on the option you choose.
The validity period begins on your first visit to the Musée d'Orsay or the Musée de l'Orangerie, when you present your card at the entrance.
If your card is not checked within two months of your membership, the validity period will automatically begin on that date.

How can I find out the expiry date for my Carte Blanche?

Your card is renewable without reprinting a new physical card, which is why the membership expiry date is not specified on it.

The expiry date of your Carte Blanche is indicated on the following documents:

  • On your online account, after activating your account on the online ticket office,
  • At the end of each email newsletter sent to members every two months, if you have provided a valid email address and agreed to receive news from the Musée d'Orsay and Musée de l'Orangerie,
  • At the top of the renewal letter that we will send to your home address by post or email if you have provided your email address, one month before the end of your membership.

I have not received my Carte Blanche, what should I do?

You will receive your Carte Blanche within 1 month of placing your order. If you have not received your Carte Blanche by this date, contact the Carte Blanche team:

  • By telephone: +33 (0)1 40 49 47 28 from 2pm to 6pm (working days)
  • By email: [email protected]

I lost my Carte Blanche, what should I do?

If you lose your card, a duplicate will be issued immediately at the ticket office of the Musée d'Orsay or the Musée de l'Orangerie. A fee of €5 will be charged, payable on site.
If your card is stolen, a replacement will be issued free of charge at the ticket office of the Musée d'Orsay or the Musée de l'Orangerie, upon presentation of an official theft report signed by a police station or gendarmerie brigade.

How can I obtain a payment receipt?

When you purchase a Carte Blanche, you will be provided with an invoice. If you have lost it, please request a replacement by emailing: carte.blanche[a]musee-orsay.fr

I am nearing the end of my subscription

One month before your membership expires, the Carte Blanche team will send you a renewal form, either by post or by email if you have provided your email address. 
You can also renew your membership now via the online ticket office.

Don't forget! If you renew your membership, keep your card. Thanks to its electronic chip, your card is reusable and gives you smoother access to the museum

Does the obligation to reserve a date and time for visits apply to Carte Blanche members?

Carte Blanche members are not required to book a specific time slot: they can go straight to the museum entrance.

Do Carte Blanche members benefit from exclusive access?

At the Musée d'Orsay, show your Carte Blanche to gain exclusive access via door C. From 13 September, Carte Blanche members will enter via door A.  At the Musée de l'Orangerie, show your Carte Blanche to gain exclusive access.

As a Carte Blanche member, can I still visit Musée d’Orsay exhibitions after 9am?

Access is possible from 9am subject to temporary modifications to Musée d'Orsay opening hours. If it is not possible to open at 9am, this is often due to an unforeseen event, but opening hours are more likely to be modified on certain dates. We will keep you informed of these dates on the Carte Blanche News page. This advantage is valid for the Carte Blanche holder and a guest in the event of Duo membership.

I have forgotten my Carte Blanche, can I access the museums?

You must present your Carte Blanche on entry. Should you forget your card, you may go to counter 6 at the Musée d’Orsay or to the reception desk at the Musée de l’Orangerie to gain access to the museum. Our staff will check the expiry date on your card.

Can I lend my Carte Blanche to someone else?

Your Carte Blanche is non-transferable, and cannot be lent to anyone else.

With the DUO option, you may bring a different guest every time, but they cannot enter the museum without you.

Can I visit several times in the same day with my Carte Blanche?

Yes. Your Carte Blanche gives you unlimited access to the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie (holders of the Carte Blanche Duo are limited to one guest per day).

How do I sign up for an activity?

You can go directly to ticket office 6 at the Musée d'Orsay or make your reservation on our online ticket office.

I have not received the members' e-newsletters. How can I sign up?

As a Carte Blanche member, you get a sneak preview of the news from the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie. A members' e-newsletter will be sent to you every two months, as well as information on opening dates for our exhibitions and the cultural program. If you have not received our e-newsletters, please check that you have provided a valid email address.

What do I do if I want to receive additional information tailored to my areas of interest?

In addition to the sneak preview you get in our members' e-newsletter, we can also send you occasional information on our news and your areas of interest. If you want to sign up, please fill in this form.

My postal address has changed, what should I do?

If your address has changed and you wish to continue receiving leaflets related to the museums' programs in the mail, please contact us by telephone on +33 (0)1 40 49 47 28 or let us know when you fill in the Carte Blanche form to renew your subscription.
